Donald & Betty Walton 60th Anniversary May 24, 2010

On May 24th, 1950, Don and Betty were united in marriage in Cedar Rapids with their best friends beside them. Over their 60 year union, they produced four children: Douglas in January 1951, Barbara in November 1955, Kevin in June 1958, and Craig in October 1967. Through the years they have enjoyed marriages, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the heartbreak of death. On a Saturday in August 1987, they lost their son, Craig Michael, in a car accident.

Our parents, being Proud People, would never admit that they needed to move in to Mt. Vernon. However, due to them taking the 'Leisurely' lifestyle they so deserve, they purchased a condo and made the move. Now they are considered 'Town Folk' and love being closer to everything.
