Clarence Jr. "Junie" and Marjorie (Schemmel) Walter were married on June 3, 1961 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Worthington, IA.

They have three children: Nanette (Bill) Yurcik of Reisterstown, MD, Nancy Hrubes of Cedar Rapids, and Ed (Katie) Walter of Marion. They have six grandchildren: Billy and Matthew Yurcik, Kelsey and Cole Hrubes, and Claire and Nicholas Walter.
