60th Wedding Anniversary

Donald and Irene (Trueblood) Thompson of Marion, IA celebrated their Diamond Anniversary on August 4, 2010. The couple was united in marriage on August 4, 1950, at the home of the bride's parents in Henry County. The couple celebrated with their family.

They have three children: two daughters, Janice (David) Adams of Lake Zurich, IL, and Donna (Martin) Finnegan of Newcastle, NE; and one son, Kevin (Debbie) Thompson. They have six grandchildren: Christine Adams, Andy and Kari (Finnegan) Kilgore, James and Nikkie Finnegan, Megan Finnegan, Kaitlin and Alyssa Thompson. They also have two great-grandchildren: Taylor Kilgore and Avah Finnegan.
