Joe and Karen (Tomash) Steffens were married January 4, 1966, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford, Iowa, by Rev. Father Amborn.
They resided 43 years in the Swisher community and now live in Cedar Rapids.
They are the proud parents of Deanna and Curt Christopherson, their children Jon Matias (Elly), and Christa and Mitch Huber; Rick and Stacy Steffens and their sons Taylor and Connor (Kali); Mike and Jessica Steffens and their children Megan and Cameron (Kelsi).
