Alan and Mary Lou (Ruzicka) Smejkal celebrated their 50th anniversary.
They were married on August 19, 1961 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with the Rev. Clarence Frana officiating.
They have two sons, Rick (Darcy) and Michael (Michelle), and three grandchildren, Adam, Zachary, & Morgan, all of Cedar Rapids.
