The couple married on September 2, 1951 at the Chapel, TX Army Base.

Nyle and Corrine have five children, Beverly and Steven McAreavy of Delaware, IA, Bill and Connie (Ramos) of Treynor, IA, Becky and Denny (Huber) of Delaware, Brad and Roxanne (Harris) of Chelsea, IA, and their late son, Britt, and Cheryl (Goble) of Moore, OK.

They have eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
