Larry and Linda Prachar of Cedar Rapids will celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 9.
The former Linda Stadler and Larry Prachar exchanged wedding vows at a 9:30 a.m. ceremony June 9, 1962, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids.
The couple's five children and spouses are: Tim Prachar of Menlo Park, CA; Jeff Prachar and wife Jan of Bothell, WA; Steve Prachar and wife Julie of Johnston, IA; Deb Hird and husband John of Joplin, MO; and Mike Prachar and wife Lara of Cincinnati, OH.
They have 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
