Harry and Karen Popelka, of Vinton, IA, will
celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on
September 6th. They were married in 1964 at Christ United Methodist Church in Belle Plaine, IA. The Popelkas have four children: Elon Swehla and her husband, Matt; Heidi Jones and her
husband, Brian; Travis Popelka and his partner, Shelby Airy; and Cory Popelka and his wife, Laura. They also have eight grandchildren: Trevor, Alana, Tyler, Tristyn, Jackson, Austin, Ben and CJ. Harry and Karen share their
anniversary with Karen's mother's birthday,
