Together they have five children. Wes (Anita) Volk of Ankeny, IA, Matt Volk of Cedar Rapids, IA, Nick (Stephanie) Volk of Fairfax, IA, Tim Volk of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Gina (Justin) Volk of Aubrey, TX. They also have eight grandchildren: Jaxon, Simon, Lukas, Finn, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Nathan, and Miles. Nick and Carol like to enjoy their time together golfing, bowling, going to shows with friends, volunteering, and taking road trips.
