Minor 60th Wedding Anniversary

Merle and Veronica (Ryan) Minor are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were married on August 18, 1954, at Calvary Baptist Church in Washington DC. A family gathering is planned today to honor them and

celebrate how much they mean to their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their family includes four daughters, Jackie (Doug) Stealey, Laree Minor, Donna (Steve) Kent and Mildred Mills, all of Cedar Rapids; and two sons, Rick Minor of Marion and Mike Minor of Cedar Rapids.

They have been blessed with 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. "Love your family - spend time, be kind, and serve one another. Make no room for regrets. Love one another, in our Heavenly Father's Name."
