Fairfax – Ken and Elaine (Teslow) Meyer are celebrating 60 years of marriage. They were married May 21, 1960 at Glenwood Lutheran Church on the old stage road, in the country outside of Decorah, IA. Then the fun started happening when the kids came along. Those children are Pam (Dan) Pruett, David Meyer, Jon (Kelly Glick) Meyer and Alicia (Davin) Helden. Ken and Elaine also have been blessed with six grandchildren, Willie, Emma, Greta, Mia, Soren and Logan. The Meyer children desperately wanted to hold a celebration, or at least throw a card party, but you can't argue with a stubborn German and a stubborn Norwegian who have been together that long.
