How does a girl from Minnesota meet a guy from Oklahoma? In Colorado, of course!
Mutual friends provided an introduction in the summer of 1963, and on April 25, 1964, Mary Roggow and Marvin Rogers were married at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dunnell, MN. There were moves to South Carolina, Oklahoma, and finally Iowa, which has been home since 1969. They are grateful for the blessing of family:
son Bryan, of Little Canada, MN, daughter
Susan, her husband Michaeljohn Gray, and
especially granddaughter Johanna, of Marion. A summer celebration is being planned.
