Richard and Shirley (Snodgrass) Lanning were married on November 27th, 1954 at Calvary
Baptist Church in Cedar Rapids. During their
60 years of marriage, they have been blessed with three children, Lynne (Brian) Westphal, Ron Lanning and Brenda (Jeff) Krause. They have six grandchildren, Breanna, Hillary, Jessica, Katie, Jacob and Brooklyn, and 10 great-grandchildren, Lacie, Jade, Jewel, Jemma, Aurora, Emma, Draven, Stylze, Addison and Arrianna.
The occasion was celebrated with a family
gathering where the couple were regaled with stories, memories and thank-you's for all they have done for their family.
