Kruse 60th Anniversary

Everett and Jean Kruse of Cedar Rapids celebrated their 60th

wedding anniversary with a family gathering and dinner at the

Marriott on June 21, 2014. The former Jean Tordoff and Everett Kruse exchanged vows at The Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA, on July 4, 1954.

Their four children and spouses are: Sheryl Kruse of Bartlesville, OK; Marcia and Chris Mack of Wheatridge, CO; Lois and Randy Stodola of Cedar Rapids; and Brian and Patty Kruse of Cedar

Rapids.

The party at the Marriott was hosted by the couple's ten

grandchildren: Katy & Matt Broyles of Bartlesville, OK; Joe Stodola of Marion, IA; Jennifer Kruse and Dan Crosby of Santa Monica, CA; Sarah Mack of Arvada, CO; and Molly and Jon Chambers, Shannon and Matt Burmeister, Jennie and Mike Ketelsen, Justina Stodola, Lesley and Jeff Vossenkemper, and Matt Kruse and his friend Amy Ferguson, all from Cedar Rapids.

Also in attendance were sisters, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews of the couple and their extended families, as well as eight of the couple's great-grandchildren:

Callahan Chambers, Karson, Kael, and Kaden Burmeister, Colbie and Cru Ketelsen, and Emily and Jayson Kubik.
