Their family and the bridal party will join in a brunch in their honor following the Mass.
The couple was married August 21, 1951 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford, IA. They are the parents of Maury (Jan) Krob of Tipton, Larry Krob of Clarence, IA, Doug (Teresa) Krob of Tipton, Cherrie (Bob) Schmidt of Clarence, Mollie (Kevin) Fisher of Mechanicsville, IA, and Jonie (Michael) Hook of Vermillion, SD.
John and Carol have twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
