Koenig -Schenkelberg Celebrating 65 Years!

Joe Koenig and Lucille Schenkelberg Koenig will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on August 7th. They were married August 7th, 1945, at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Halbur, IA.

Joe and Lucille have two children: Steve Koenig (wife, Mary Ann) and Becky Picard (husband, Denny Waldron). They have four grandchildren: Jenny (Mike) Shirk and Jodi Koenig, both of California, and Christian Picard and Ryan (Jill) Picard, both of Denver. They also have three great-grandchildren: Koey and Katie Shirk, and Lauren Picard. All the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were recently home together to celebrate Joe and Lucille's 65th.

Joe and Lucille have been an amazing example for their family. We congratulate them on 65 wonderful years together, and wish them a very happy 65th.
