Dale C. Klein, Sr. and Uva M. McAtee were married at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids on June 10, 1961.
Their children include Kim (Doug) Kayser, Dawn (Tim) Brecht, Paula (Brian) Butz, Brian Klein, Lisa (Rick) Noel, and Curt (Angie) Klein. They have fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
