Anniversary with a family dinner. They were married on March 7, 1964, at St. John Lutheran Church in Newhall, IA. They have been blessed with 3 children: Debbie (Doug) Stien, Brenda (Robert) Schanbacher and Mike (Chris) Karr, all of Newhall. They have 6 grandsons and 2 grand-daughters: Jake (Katie) Stien, Ryan (Ashley) Stien, Luke (Kristin) Stien, Ben (Lindsey) Schanbacher, Andy and Dustin Schanbacher, and Shelby and Ellie Karr. They also have 1 great-grandson: Joseph Stien. Their children would like to honor them with a card shower at:
