Don and Kathy Johnston of Marion will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on October 9th, with an open house from 4 to 8 p.m. at the American Legion Post 298 at: 625 31st Street, Marion. Friends and family are cordially invited. No gifts, The event will be hosted by their children, Doug (Ashlynn) Johnston, Melissa (Sean) Phillips, and Can (Carrie) Johnston; and grandchildren, Tessa, Payge, Cameryn, and Alekai. Don Johnston and the former Kathy Hansen were married October 2, 1960, in Lowden, IA.
