Happy 75th Wedding Anniversary

William (Bill) and Donna Launspach of Iowa City celebrated their 75th Wedding Anniversary on February 18, 2025. They met during a dance mixer held at the University of Iowa Memorial Union in 1948 and were married on February 18, 1950 at the First United Methodist Church in Iowa City. Their children are Hollie Higgs (Tom Abbott), Deb Lyon (Mark), Philip Launspach (Janice) and Jane Deets (Kevin). They have 6 grandchildren: Mike Lyon (Katie), Christopher Lyon (Aimee), Jon Launspach (Kay), Hilary Dempsey (Jack), Elizabeth Deets (Corey Hayes), and Elyse Gerald (Bret); and 12 great-grandchildren, Clara and Julia Lyon; Parker, Charlotte and Wyatt Lyon; Kaia Launspach; and Violet Dempsey, Elle and Reese Gerald, Cal, Marlo, and Birdie Hayes.
