Raymond and Linda Whittle celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary May 3 with a luncheon at Papa Juan’s Mexican Restaurant with family and friends.
The former LindaLou Barth and Raymond Eugene Whittle exchanged vows May 14,1960 at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Decorah. Five children blessed their union: Jeffrey (Donna Page), San Diego, Calif., Peter, deceased, Anna and Jim Jeffries, Washington, Iowa, Mary Dickinson, Cedar Rapids, and Laura Hansen, deceased. They have four granddaughters and three great-grandchildren. They are also blessed with a stepgranddaughter and husband and two stepgrandchildren and a spouse.
Raymond and Linda thank Almighty God for the gift of their love.
