Richard E. Wendel and Sandra K. Allee were married on May 22nd, 1965 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids.
This union was blessed with three sons:
- Adam and his wife Frances, and their children Lora, Matthew and Emma. They live in
Lakewood, WA.
- Joseph and his wife Jennifer, and their sons Aaron and Andrew. They live in Center Point, IA.
- Matthew, who died on June 30, 1990.
