Elson 50th Anniversary

William and Fay Elson celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married at United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids on February 10, 1962.

They have two sons, Rodney of Plainfield, IL and Brett of Plano, TX. William has a sister, Martha, who resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband, Keith. Fay has a brother, Bob who resides in North English, IA with his wife, Rosie, and a sister Kay, also of North English. Her eldest brother, Franklin, and his wife, Velma, are deceased.

The couple celebrated their fifty years of marriage with a surprise dinner party at Daniel Arthurs surrounded by family and friends. The festivities included The Newlywed Game, a reenactment of their wedding dance, and an anniversary cake. As the evening concluded, guests shared stories and toasts.
