John and Maralee Dyson of Iowa City will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on November 6, 2010. Friends and relatives are invited to an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. at the University Athletic Club: 1360 Melrose Avenue, Iowa City, IA. No gifts, please.
John and the former Maralee Steele were married at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Iowa City on January 1, 1961. Due to a number of friends who become snowbirds in the winter, they chose to celebrate early.
