The couple married on October 14, 1961 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Their children include Julie Gerard of Cedar Rapids, Lisa (Ed) Riehle of Seoul, South Korea, Tim (Jenny) Drahos of Cedar Rapids, Tom (Liz) Drahos of Lexington, VA, Deanna (Chris) Iverson of St. George, UT, and Matt (Amy) Drahos of Cedar Rapids. Their 17 grandchildren include Alison Gerard, Joseph, Elizabeth and Eric Riehle, Kalie, Nathan and Zachary Drahos, Paul and John Drahos, Cole, Cade, Luke and Layla Iverson, and Anna, Kevin, Alexander and Benjamin Drahos.
