On May 27, 1955, Don Happel and Janice McAtee were married in Alburnett, IA.
They are the parents of two children, Jeff (Janet) Happel and Julie (Dan) Kigin; four grandchildren, Amanda Happel, Lisa Harkness, Chris (Vanessa) Anderson and Nick Anderson; and four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ricky, Jett and Wyatt.
