CEDAR RAPIDS Dennis Day and the former Patricia Harrington were married on August 8, 1959 at Immaculate Conception Church in Cedar Rapids.

The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary early in June with a family dinner and trip to Wisconsin.

Their sons and spouses are, Brian and ReneeDay of Gilbert, AZ; Steve and Andrea Day of Champlin, MN; Shawn and Chris Day of Palo, IA; and the late Kevin Day. Their grandchildren are, Kendall, Tyler, Alex, and Karina Day.
