Celebrating 50 Years
Leon and Kay (Novak) Batey of Belle Plaine will be celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 11. The couple were united in marriage on June 11, 1966 at the First Church of the
Nazarene in Cedar Rapids. Celebrating with them are their four children: Pamela (Allan) Oltrogge, Shellsburg; Douglas (Suzie Skinner), Geneseo, IL; Doyle (Tiffinay), Conroy; and Sheila (Jim) Hlas, Belle Plaine.
They have 13 grandchildren and
two great-grandchildren.
A party in their honor will be hosted by their
children at the couple's home located at
1456 78th Street Trl. on June 11 at 4 p.m.
