Don and Connie Brown of Independence, IA will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on October 9th with an open house for friends and family from 4 to 7 p.m. a the Rowley Community Center in Rowley, IA. The former Connie Williams and Don Brown were married October 8, 1960, at the Rowley Presbyterian Church in Rowley. Their family includes children, Dave (Kathy) Brown of Oro Valley, AZ, Burdette (Ann) Brown of Oskaloosa, IA, and Peggy (Doug) Marks of Lake Ozark, MO; eight grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. No gifts, please.
