On October 21, 1950, Larry Bowers and the former Mary Williams were married at the Little Brown Church. Their five children and families include, Sandy and Rick Freese, Steve Bowers, Dixie and Bill Heineman, Mary and Dennis Beadle, and Herb Bowers, all from Iowa; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A family dinner was hosted by their children and a trip to Door County, WI.
