MARION, IA - James and Jolane Berns of Marion will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 4 to 8 p.m.
on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Marion, hosted by their four children and spouses.
The former Jolane Tate and James Berns were married November 4, 1959, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion.
Their children are, JoLeah (Mike) Hurst of Marion, Janice (Helgi) Tryggvason of Grand Prairie, TX, Jean Berns of Cedar Rapids, and James (Kathy) Berns of Muscatine, IA. They also have 13 grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
