Scott and Debbie Benson: Married 35 Years Today
Debbie grew up in Buffalo, NY and Scott in Pittsburgh, PA. They met in college located between the towns. They married on May 22, 1976 in Pittsburgh. Scott joined the Navy and Debbie endured military life for eight years. They were blessed with two children, Jessica and Timothy, while stationed in Saratoga Springs, NY. After the Navy, Scott accepted a job and the family moved to Cedar Rapids where they continue to reside on the southwest side.
They now have three grandchildren, William, Joel, and Sammy, by Jessica and Bryan Nachazel. Timothy resides in San Diego, CA.
