Boyd and Dorothy Beatty are celebrating their 65th Wedding Anniversary! They were married on November 17, 1951 at St. John's Episcopal Church, Cedar Rapids. Lifelong farmers, they raised five children in Shellsburg. After retirement, they moved to Cedar Rapids, where they reside
today. Their children are Jan (Wayne) Christiansen, Grinnell; Paul, Shellsburg; Scott, Shellsburg; Jane (Gene Prokuski), Downers Grove, IL; and Jean (Roy) Fish, Shellsburg. They have six grandchildren and eight great-grandsons.
