SOLON, IA - Fred and Jeanne Bark of Solon will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on August 2, 2009, with a family gathering. Hosts of the celebration will be their children.
The former Jeanne Dresher and Fred Bark were married July 31, 1949, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids.
Their four children are, Bill and Laurie Bark of Marion; Lynette and Gary Kerslake of Lisbon, IA; Jon and Colleen Bark of Nevada, IA; and Pat Bark of Cedar Rapids. They have nine grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
