They are the parents of three children, Debbie (Jerry) Sandersfeld of Columbia, SC, Dean Ashbacher of Grand Blanc, MI, and Dawn Ashbacher of Burke, VA. Their granddaughter is Haley Sandersfeld of Columbia, SC.
