70th Anniversary Celebration

Pete and Mimi Thompson are celebrating 70 years of marriage on September 12. Married in Morris, IL at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in 1952, they moved to Cedar Rapids with their daughters, Jayne (Jack), Carol (Gaylen) and Kathy (Kevin) in 1963. They are blessed with nine grandchildren, Dan (Nina), Matt, Katrina, Ben (Kate), Jacob, Samuel, Kari, Tyler and Jay; and two great-grandsons, Peyton and Cooper. The couple and their family are celebrating today with a family dinner.
