70th Anniversary

Jim and Mona (Lawlor) Hayes will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on Sept. 16, 2020. They were married at Immaculate Conception Church in Cedar Rapids. They plan a "masked" family get-together at their home late In October (due to coronavirus). They lived in Chicago for a while during the early 50s, spent most of the last 25 winters in Florida, traveled extensively in Jim's work with AAA, and while they've lived near the lake in Solon for almost 40 years,

Cedar Rapids still seems like "Homebase" to them. They have had 5 wonderful children, Steve, Mike, Julie, Chris and Jeff, who have blessed them with 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren (also wonderful). Cards may be sent to 406 Lake View Dr. NE, Solon, IA 52333.
