Jim and Darlene Goetsch, formerly from Cedar Rapids, Ely and Swisher, are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. They were united in marriage Jan. 4, 1958 in Austin, MN.

Their five children surprised them with a family celebration in September to avoid the

unpredictable Minnesota weather.
