Carl and Mary Carson will celebrate their
60th wedding anniversary on March 9. They have three children: Marcia Loan (Randy); Dave Carson (Pippa); and Karen Beer (Mike). Seven grandchildren include: Ben (Nikki), Dylan, and Chelsea Hines; Trevor and Grant Carson; Ryan and Megan Beer. Oscar Hines, age 17 months, is their first great-grandchild. They are looking forward to the marriage of Megan to Mitch Beckert on July 20. At retirement from the
Cedar Rapids Schools - Carl was principal of Jackson Elementary and Mary was a special
education administrator.
