Darwin and Linda (Lerch) Sweeting are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on Sept. 12, 1970 at the Center Point United Methodist Church by the late Rev. Dwayne Madsen. They have three children, Shiela (the late Bob) Cooksley, Susan (Kurt) Morris and Ben (Molly) Sweeting, all of Center Point. They have five grandchildren, Samantha (Josh Reed), Hanna and Cooper Morris, and Henry and Josie Sweeting. They are celebrating with a family dinner.
