CRAG’s McSweeney wins regional title

Kareena McSweeney of the Cedar Rapids Association of Gymnastics won two Level 8 events at the regional gymnastics championships last weekend in Green Bay.
McSweeney won the bars and beam with scores of 9.4 and 9.35. Grace Hartzler tied for first in the floor exercise with a 9.35.
Six other CRAG athletes competed in the meet and Jenna Danninger advanced to the Western Championships after placing in the top 10 in all five events in Level 9.
At the boys' regional meet in Milwaukee, CRAG's Todd Beyer II placed third in the Level 10 floor exercise and vault.
CENTRAL CITY'S HENNICK WINS TITLE
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - Lexi Hennick of Central City won the 65-pound title at the NUWAY Nationals wrestling tournament.
Hennick won the Girls 9-and-under title, beating Jaydyn McKinney of Shore Sports Club in the finals.
