Summer Iowa Games youth soccer deadline nears

The 24th annual Summer Iowa Games is fast approaching and so are the deadlines to participate. The next call is for youth soccer teams.
Late online registration for youth soccer contests is set for midday Tuesday, June 8. registration fees include $130 for U6-U8, $180 for U9-U10, $220 for U11-U12, $260 for U13-U15, $290 for U16-U19 and $180 for U16-U19 6-on-6 competition.

The statewide event comprised of 54 sports, including 41 individual sports and 13 team activities, had 15,504 athletes compete in the 2009 games.
