Charlotte Jean Walser, 68, of Cedar Rapids, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. Private Family Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Charlotte was born Jan. 10, 1950, the daughter of Warren and Norma (Pollock) Weger, in Cedar Rapids. She worked as a CNA for Heritage Nursing Home. Charlotte was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed reading. More than anything she loved her family and bragging about her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her sister, Pamela (Loren) Koss; two nieces, Lisa (Paul) Betterton and Lauri Scalf; nephew, Timothy (Denise) Koss; great nieces and nephews, Kaylee, Keaton, Kelsey, Kaden, Kolton, Emily, Nora, David, Johnathan and Zachary; and sister-in-law, Sue Weger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Ronald Weger.
The family would like to thank Dr. Deborah Wilbur, Paula, Lisa and the entire staff at Hall-Perrine Cancer Center, and the staff at the Hospice House, for their care and kindness throughout this journey.
