Watch: Linn-Marr's McCrary wins long jump
DES MOINES -- Linn-Mar senior Curtis McCrary won the 4A boys' long jump title in his very first season on an organized track team.
After moving to Marion from Detroit before this school year, McCrary excelled as a long-jumper all season and he broke the 23-foot mark for the first time at the state meet.

Cedar Rapids Kennedy took home second and third place. Famiek Cook took second with a jump of 22-03.25, while Derek Jacobus was an inch behind his teammate for third place.
