CEDAR RAPIDS -- Linn-Mar's hopes for a boys' track state-championship repeat have taken a major hit.A member of the Lions' coaching staff confirmed Saturday that sprinter Perrion Scott is academically ineligible and unlikely to return this season.Scott, a junior, burst onto the scene last year, anchoring the Lions' 800-meter relay to the Class 4A state championship and finishing in the top three in three other events.He was second in the 200-meter dash, third in the 100 and anchored the Lions to third in the 400 relay.
