Florence Delilah Aldrich, 93, of Milwaukee, Wis., formerly of Eastern Iowa, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, in Milwaukee. Private graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
Survivors include her children, Marsha (Thomas) O'Donnell and Jacqueline (Joseph) Gessner; a brother, Donald Hanks; grandchildren, Allan, Christopher, William, Andrea, Samantha, Laura and Katherine; and great-grandchildren, Christopher, Brennan, Emily, Tanner, Molly and Darby.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doran D. Aldrich.
Florence was born Aug. 16, 1921, in Long Grove, Iowa, to Charles and Susan Hanks.
She was a loving sister to Jack, Ruby, Ferris, Chet and Don, and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was always her greatest joy and her sweet and gentle presence was a gift to everyone she knew.
