McKeag, Roger
Retired Master Sergeant Roger McKeag USAF of Citrus Heights, Calif., left this world after a courageous battle with cancer on Dec. 2, 2012.
He was born Nov. 6, 1939, at Brooklyn, Iowa, to Walter and Thelma (Lane) McKeag.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry.
He is survived by his wife, Quin; a daughter, Loraine Horton of McKinney, Texas; his twin sister, Rita (Roger) Beason of Lynnvill, Iowa; sisters, Sandra (John) Williams of St. Charles, Iowa, Diane (John) Dougherty of Marion, Iowa, and Cathy (John) Belcher of Marion, Iowa; twin brothers, Alvin (Tuson) McKeag of Mason, City, Iowa, and Allen McKeag of Lawler, Iowa; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Phipps of Grinnell, Iowa; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Roger retired form the United States Air Force after 22 years and worked as a supervisor for the Ink Company in Sacramento, Calif., for 20 years.
Services with military honors were held Dec. 6, 2012, at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Dixon, Calif.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Roger's name.
