M. Lisa Angell, 62, of Mount Prospect, Ill., and formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, after a hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
Lisa was the loving mother of Brian and Kathryn Angell; dear sister of Thomas (Nancy) Donnelly and Timothy Donnelly of Cedar Rapids and Terrance (Donna) Donnelly of Madison, Wis.; cherished aunt of eight and great-aunt of 10; and companion to her dog, Buddie.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Kathryn Donnelly; sister, Mary; and niece, Tatum Donnelly. After graduation from Regis High School, Lisa earned a bachelor's degree in social work and a master's degree in public administration from the University of Iowa. She worked 28 years for the Village of Mount Prospect, serving as Village clerk the last 11.
Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, Mount Prospect, Ill. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, St. Raymond de Penafort Catholic Church. Mount Prospect, Ill.
