Winckel, Lisa Ann
Lisa Ann Winckel, 41, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, March 12, 2010. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Teahen Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Frank Vozenilek. Burial: Urbana Cemetery. Friends may visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Pat Winckel of Cedar Rapids; father, David Winckel of Denver, Colo.; brother, Jeff Kremer; niece and nephew, Kaylee and Luke Kremer, all of Cedar Rapids; and grandmother, Esther McMullin of Denver, Colo.
Lisa was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Fern Lockhart; and sister-in-law, Christy Kremer.
Lisa was born Feb. 6, 1969 in Denver, Colo., the daughter of David and Patricia Lockhart Winckel. She graduated from Jefferson High School and Mount Mercy College, where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work.
Lisa was a very loving and caring person. Lisa was beautiful and had a million dollar personality. She was very outgoing and always put others first. She was gifted in the field of social work, especially when working with handicapped and challenged children. She had a special love when it came to animals, especially dogs. She was a wonderful person and always made everyone laugh. Lisa will always be loved and greatly missed.
