Dougherty, Rev. Lawrence 'Larry'
The Rev. Lawrence “Larry” Dougherty, 69, went home to be with his Lord on Nov. 11, 2009, at home, following a 5-year battle with cancer. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at New Life Community Church in Coralville, where visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time. Graveside service, with military honors, will be at 3:30 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Newton. Conducting the services will be Pastor Ken Polsey, the Rev. John White and the Rev. Jeff McIlrath.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Larry's memory to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to World Vision.
